All organisations, whatever their size, have a legal requirement to have a ‘Competent’ Health and Safety Adviser under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. In addition, many clients and Contractor Assessment schemes require organisations to have access to professional advice as part of the requirements for tendering.
At Safety For Construction, we have developed a retainer scheme to help our clients to meet their requirements and help to save money. A retainer simply assists your company in meeting certain obligations under health, safety, environmental & further associated legislation by providing group of services into one package.
Ideally, you would have one of your full time employees take on the role of ‘Competent’ person to deal with your Health and Safety management, however, we understand that many companies cannot always afford to have a permanent full time health & safety representative employed and therefore this is the cost effective solution to overcoming this problem.
We create a bespoke 12-month retainer, based on the level of support you need whether it is regular on-site support, some advice over the phone or our certificate of appointment which you can use to demonstrate your commitment to H&S when applying for tenders or accreditations.
